Infographic: Your Store Wizards COVID-19 eCommerce Impact Survey Results

We recently asked our clients to participate in an anonymous survey to determine the impact COVID-19 is having on their eCommerce business. Some key findings on the survey include:

  • The largest percentage of respondents, 27.59%, have seen an increase of 50% or more in their sales.
  • Pay-Per-Click advertising and email marketing are top channels respondents are focusing their marketing efforts on.
  • 29.41% of respondents have pulled back or cut Search Engine Optimization efforts.
  • 30.43% of respondents laid off of furloughed workers due to COVID-19, while 13% hired additional employees.
  • Nearly half of those surveyed did not apply for the federal Paycheck Protection Program loans.

Your Store Wizards – February 2020 Update

Your Store Wizards – January 2020 Update

Scott SanfilippoPhew, what a holiday season! As quick as it rolled in, it rolled right out and for many eCommerce merchants, Holiday 2019 was a record-breaker. Most of the store owners I talked to during and after the season expressed above-average ticket sizes, a year-over-year increase in the number of orders, and a great sense of accomplishment.

Many of our clients are what I consider eCommerce veterans. Store owners who have been around for a decade or more, have outlasted many a competitor, have weathered through economic slowdowns, and have the battle scars to prove it.

Your Store Wizards August 2019 Update

Scott SanfilippoJust a few weeks ago we held our quarterly leadership meeting. This virtual gathering is something we began doing about a year ago and is a day full of reviewing what we accomplished in the previous quarter, setting our goals for the current, and planning for the future.

When planning out “what’s next,” we work in 90-day blocks based on what we need to accomplish for the year. These quarterly meetings keep us focused and aligned with what we need to do in order to complete what we set out to do by year’s end.

Thanks for Visiting Us at Internet Retailer 2019!

The last week of June found etailers from across the globe meeting in Chicago for the 2019 Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition (IRCE).  This annual event grows each year and attracts the first-time store owner, the seasoned vet, and every etailer in between.

IRCE is more than just a trade show where you jump from booth-to-booth, it’s also an educational event. Attendees have the opportunity to attend seminars on various topics from customer service and logistics, to latest design trends and marketing.
