Feed Wizard, our comparison shopping engine (CSE) feed management application, now supports the popular social media app Pinterest.
Pinterest is a website and mobile app that allows users to share recipes, tips and hints, photos, and more importantly – products. eCommerce merchants in the clothing, gift, home goods, bridal, and jewelry categories, to name a few, can use Pinterest to highlight their products on Pinterest virtual bulletin boards that visitors can view, share, and save. Most importantly, visitors can click on your product pin and be taken directly to your store to make a purchase.
Creating boards and posting products on them is a manual process that many store owners don’t have the time or labor to do. Our new Pinterest feed solves that problem and automates the process.
Current Feed Wizard customers can add the Pinterest feed for just $9.95 per month. Once activated, the store owner tells Feed Wizard what Pinterest board to post the products to and the magic begins.
A few things to note:
- By default, Feed Wizard submits a maximum of 450 products per board. So the initial import will submit the last 450 products added. As new products are added, the oldest will drop off.
- The default install includes 1 RSS feed which populates one board. Additional RSS feeds can be created for multiple boards, additional fees apply.
