Every time I’m asked that question, I laugh. Is there really such a thing as a “vacation” for small business owners?
Sure, you may escape to the beach for the weekend, or pack up the family for a few days of rest and relaxation at a resort, but you’re never too far from your business. Laptops, tablets, and phones have made it all too easy for us to check on how many orders came in, whether emails are getting answered in time, and did so-and-so follow up on that customer’s missing order from wherever we are in the world.
If you’re among the thousands of eCommerce store owners heading to the windy city, we’d love to chat with you about your business and how we can help get you ready for the busy holiday season which is right around the corner.
Our development calendar for 2019 is pretty full and while we released several new products and updated existing ones, we’re not done yet. In fact, the team is heads-down, knee-deep in projects that I haven’t spoken about, but are going to be exciting additions for Yahoo!, Big Commerce, and Shopify store owners.
In case you missed what came out so far this year, here’s a quick recap:
Ask anyone on the team, “how are things going?” and the answer is sure to be “busy!” April came and went quicker than a basket full of chocolate on Easter morning and besides being a busy month, it was an exciting one.
Just a few weeks ago I introduced you to the latest product to come out of our development lab, AMP Wizard. In development for nearly a year, the latest addition to our suite of SaaS products has quickly become a must-have for Yahoo! Store owners.
AMP Wizard from Your Store Wizards is now available and we understand you may have questions about AMP and why it’s recommended for all websites.
We encourage you to read through our FAQs below to see if your question has been answered. If you need more information about AMP Wizard, please contact us, or to learn more about the product, click here.
Today I’m pleased to announce the latest product to come out of our Development Lab. It’s one that has been in the works for several months and is what I consider a “game changer” for Yahoo! Store owners.
When was the last time you checked Google Search Console (formerly Google Webmaster Tools) for any important messages about your site?
Ok, I know there’s quite a few of you out there who just kind of “forget,” so this is a reminder to take a minute, log in and see what’s waiting there for you.
Recently we began receiving emails from customers asking about a certain message they’ve been receiving within Search Console regarding “Products related issues.” The message reads that “Products may be negatively afftected in Google Search results” and encourages the site owner to fix the issues.
It’s hard to believe the first quarter has come and gone. For many eCommerce store owners, the momentum of holiday shopping continues into the first few weeks of the new year as gift cards are redeemed, exchanges are made, and accessories bought for all the presents received.
The first quarter also is a time for merchants to evaluate what they did right and what they did wrong during the holiday season and make adjustments to ensure that the new year is one full of success.
